I posted before about the size of my waterbeads and the fact that white and black seem to always be smaller in size. Last week though, I “re-puffed” as I like to call it, my black and BEHOLD…they got bigger!
I’m not saying they returned to the size they were when I originally hydrated them, I am saying they got bigger than that. This particular black had been re-puffed briefly a few days before and I hadn’t noticed a change. This time though, I re-puffed overnight. When I awoke, the black had reached almost normal size.
So, I took a second set of black and my white and re-puffed. Unfortunately, they did not seem to grow quite so well as the first set of black. Today I have put them both back in “re-puffing” stage to see if they will continue to grow to a more normal full size.
So, although I cannot guarantee that your black or white waterbeads will ever grow to a normal full size, it does seem that after the third re-puff, they will get bigger.
